| João Pessoa is the capital of Paraíba
and it was founded in 8/5/1585, being to 3rd older city of Brazil.
It is the alive portrait of the past in the streets and plazas of
the Historical Centre, that date back to the origins of the city,
with beautiful monuments of architecture and baroque art. The Centre
is 7 km distant from the beaches, but it deserves a visit.
The air is pure and the city is clean
and calm, remembering a city of the country. The people is hospitable,
cheerful and fan for the city. The craft is rich and the gastronomy
is simple, rustic and very old but delicious, as the "carne
de sol" with "macaxeira" (meat preserved by the salt
and the sun, accompanied with a root called macaxeira) and the seafood
(fish, lobsters, shrimps, oysters...) João Pessoa also is
known in Brazil as "the city where the sun rises first",
in fact this in the point more oriental of the Americas.
The city is also notable for the pleasant
climate, that it varies between 20 and 30 degrees and for the beauty
of their 37 km of urban beaches. Besides all this, João Pessoa
was considered by UN as to 2nd city more green of the world being
behind just of the French capital, Paris. It is the only city of
the Northeast where the sewer is not spieled in the sea.
The ocean is clean and calm, varying in
tones of green to blue turquoise. The coastline is preserved by
a legislation that limits the height of the buildings. It is the
capital of the Northeast more secure. We have activities in several
cities, as well as for others states as Natal/RN and Recife/PE.
For being in a strategic point, it is possible to know in just a
trip to the Northeast, at least 3 marvellous States.
Our beaches
